Connecticut man arrested in bomb threat to Trump rally

A 20 year-old Waterbury man was arrested on Saturday after threatening to bomb the Trump campaign event on Twitter.

Sean Taylor Morkys warned friends and family to leave the event so they would not be harmed.

He has since taken down the tweets.

Morkys has posted anti-Trump tweets in the past but on Saturday he took it to a new level.

Morkys is a psych student at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven.

Morkys was located by State Police Counter Terrorism detectives, Waterbury police officers, and special agents from the United States Secret Service. He was taken into custody at about 5 p.m.
