Chicago murders have doubled over this time in 2015

[Ed. – And yet — one more time — Chicago has some of the most draconian gun laws in the nation.  Obviously, they don’t “work” as intended.]

Six Chicagoans were murdered from Friday through Monday, bringing the total number of killings this year to 95 – double the number over the same period last year.

Another 32 people were shot over the weekend, including a 3-year-old boy – bringing the total of wounded to 420, more than doubling the number from last year.

The weekend toll includes one person killed and nine wounded from Friday evening to Saturday morning; three men killed and 14 people wounded from Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning; and six people wounded from Sunday afternoon to Monday morning.
