A discussion about LSU running back Leonard Fournette took a wrong turn during ESPN’s “College Football Live” on Thursday.
ESPN college football analyst Trevor Matich wondered during the show if Fournette should sit out next season to preserve his health for the 2017 NFL draft.
Fellow ESPN analyst Joey Galloway, a former Ohio State and NFL receiver, said that argument is like telling someone not to drive a car because you might get in an accident.
“When you drive a car, you don’t have SEC defenders diving into your legs 25 times a game,” Matich said.
“No, you’ve got women driving,” Galloway said.
