Las Vegas strip club advertises job openings for recent high school grads

What happens in Las Vegas, it is said, stays in Las Vegas. If true, that could be good news for females who graduated from high school this spring and are seeking employment, because a Las Vegas strip club is “now auditioning the class of 2015.”

So reads the marquee at Little Darlings … which is a strip club.

According to Fox affiliate KVVU, the club’s manager, Rick Marzullo, is offering positions (some of them presumably upright) to recent grads who are college-bound and seeking income to defray the costs. In the video that follows, Marzullo tells reporter Danielle Miller:

We all know the economy isn’t that great, [and] it’s hard to find jobs sometimes. This is an open door for young women 18 years old and up to come and make some good money.

Hundreds that are either in college or that have worked their way through college [strip or have stripped], and like I said, without one penny of debt, not having to take out student loans, not having to borrow money from family or friends or taking out loans from banks.

Noting that the club is always looking for “entertainers” and that tuition costs are continuing to rise, Marzullo claims that an increasing number of women have turned to stripping to foot the bill. Girls, he adds, can make up to $1,000 a night.

Public nudity, pornography, and higher education may sound like strange bedfellows, but that menage a trois has made headlines of late. A 19-year-old coed at the University of Oregon earned her 15 minutes of fame in February, when she made and starred in her own porn video, shot in the school library. Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh went even further by offering a course last winter in which students were tasked with inventing a new porn genre. And mere days ago Columbia University mattress girl Emma Sulkowicz returned to the news cycle with word of her new sex tape.
