Horrific: Mob in Guatemala burns alive girl, 16, with alleged gang ties to local murder

[Ed. – Things like this highlight the sheer cynicism of the Obama administration.  The U.S. has done both well and poorly over the years in helping Latin America combat this kind of unspeakable violence.  But for a long time, things were on a much better path throughout most of Central America.  And today,  Obama can’t justly say he’s even trying.  It’s fair to say his administration is taking advantage of these conditions to offer Central Americans a ticket out — an immigration flood that is supposed to benefit the American left politically — instead of trying to reverse the trends in these desperate people’s own violence-torn countries.]

A violent mob took justice into their own hands by torturing and setting fire to a 16-year-old girl allegedly tied to the robbery and murder of a taxi driver. …

The helpless girl is knocked down multiple times before the horde douses her with some flammable liquid and then sets her on fire. In the gruesome video the girl kicks and screams in desperation before simply laying still as the flames begins to subside. Suddenly a man in a white shirt runs by and sprays more flammable liquid on the girl setting off a large fireball that once again begins to consume the girl.

According to Telecinco.es, the girl appears to have been part of a gang and along with two other men who were accused of shooting a taxi driver. The two men were able to run away through back alleys but left the girl behind to the will of the mob.
