Maybe Charlie Sheen will finally confer some zero-head cool on the GOP.
There’s always too much sheer Sheen-ness to encompass in a single post, and we do try to keep these QTs short. But our colleague Rodney Lee Conover, over at Joe for America, picked up on Charlie Sheen’s latest enthusiastic, damn-the-torpedoes speculation about his personal future, and unearthed a gem in Sheen’s interview with Michael Loftus of The Flipside. Not only is Sheen a conservative libertarian who votes Republican — he’s considering running for president.
As Rodney Lee suggests, Sheen is no less qualified than Obama was.
Sheen may have some ‘splainin’ to do about a few things, as the primary cycle ramps up. There is his latest Delphic communication to the public on Brian Williams, for example, which appears to be an essay in blank verse:

In addition to a conservative libertarian, Sheen has also described himself as an F-18 and a high priest Vatican assassin warlock. We do know that he does not consider himself to be Thomas Jefferson. In Sheen’s estimation, Jefferson “was a pussy.”
