After tweeting ‘I start this [BLANK] job tomorrow,’ teen fired — on Twitter

What goes around on Twitter comes around on Twitter. A Texas teen who was less than enthralled about beginning a new job in a pizzeria shared that view last Friday with her 1,815 followers, tweeting out: “Ew I start this f**k a** job tomorrow.”

Unfortunately for the teen, who tweets using the handle “Cellla_”, one of the people who saw the message was her future and soon-to-be ex-boss, who fired her before she had a chance to report for work.

The Daily Mail notes that Robert Waple, the owner of Jet’s Pizza in Mansfield, Texas, tweeted a reply:

The Mail notes that this was the second time since Waple opened a Twitter account in 2009 that he felt impelled to tweet.

Cellla_, in the meantime, became an overnight sensation, receiving salutations form as far away as Peru. Waple, too. His tweet has been retweeted 3,800 times and favorited more than 4,200.
