Kid Rock is, er, impatient with LGBT speech police

In a recent interview with The Guardian, musician Kid Rock spoke bluntly about his fame, fortune, and family, and even made a few statements regarding some of the nation’s hottest political issues, including gay marriage, the war on drugs, and abortion. …

“I played Barack Obama’s inauguration even though I didn’t vote for him,” said Kid Rock, whose legal name is Robert Ritchie. “I didn’t agree with his policies, but there was an exciting sense of change in the air.” However, he said, “that promise hasn’t been fulfilled, the country is more divided than ever.” …

Rock said:

A vocal supporter of the second amendment, Kid Rock revealed himself to be an avid gun enthusiast who is always on the hunt for new pieces to add to his collection. “If someone invades your house, yeah, you can shoot them,” he said of his stance on firearms. …

He closed the post offering no apologies, and stated his opinion of the once wildly popular musical genre “Rap-Rock,” which helped catapult him to superstardom more than a decade ago:
