Lauren Bacall still dead: Sorry, readers of AARP Magazine

Earlier this month, screen legend Lauren Bacall died at age 89. Yet readers of AARP Magazine who turn to the Big5-Oh page of the print version of the publication will discover that rumors of Bacall’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.

The feature, which marks the birthdays of famous individuals turning 50 or better, includes the advice that Bacall will be celebrating her 90th birthday on Sept. 16. The caption reads:

Serious actress told Vanity Fair, “I think you have to be unconscious to be happy.”

The online version of the page has a larger array of celebs, but none of them is Bacall.
