A word from our sponsor: Roy Rogers hat gun

It gives a new meaning to “blast from the past.” The video is of a commercial from an era of television when the name Roy Rogers signified an actual rootin’ tootin’ cowboy, not bad fast food that bears the late actor’s name.

The source is Big Geek Daddy (h/t reader Steven Ein). The intro paragraph asks, “Can you imagine an ad for a hat like this today and the politically correct uproar that would result?”

Here’s another question: What would be the fate of the unsuspecting kid who wore this hat to school and flashed the hidden gun? Whatever you answer, you’d better smile when you say it, podner!
