Black ESPN host directs ugly racist rant at black colleague

Considering both the participants here are black watching the gut-wrenching national conversation over race should be fun. Over to you, Barack Obama!

ESPN host and former Jets star Hugh Douglas shouted racial slurs and threatened to flatten a colleague during an ugly confrontation in Florida over the weekend.

A drunken Douglas called his “Numbers Never Lie” co-host Michael Smith an “Uncle Tom” and a “House N—–” at the House of Blues in Orlando Friday night, where they had been attending an event hosted by the National Association of Black Journalists, according to The Big Lead sports Web site.

“We are looking at the this incident internally,” an ESPN rep said today, declining any further comment.
