The south-central Asian nation of Pakistan may be a bit schizophrenic when it comes to active homosexuals, executing those dragged kicking and screaming before its increasingly Islamic-based court system, but leading the globe in gay Google searches, as reported by the New York Post.
Citing both Mother Jones and the Pew Research Center, the Post reports that when the people of Pakistan were queried as to whether gays should be openly accepted into their society, a mere 2 percent answered in the affirmative.
Yet the same nation that is increasingly turning those accused of “buggery” over to Islamic Sharia’a courts rather than to the country’s secular courts also happens to lead the world in a number of homosexual-related Google search terms.
The Islamic Republic is second to none while Googling the phrases shemale sex, teen anal sex, and man f***ing man (self censored). By a thin margin, Pakistan did place second globally for the phrase gay sex pics.
Under the guise of tradition and considered a status symbol, many Pakistani men adhere to the age-old practice of Bacha Bazi, the term for an older man with a boy lover which literally translates to “boy player.”
