“[Unlike Egypt] the active-duty Marine Corps has less than 150 M1A1 Abrams tanks in its inventory at any given time…”

A high-ranking Iranian governmental official recently arrived in Egypt, vowing to strengthen ties between the hard-core Islamist state and the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) ruled North African nation, as reported by the Global Times (of Beijing, China).

Visiting Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said Monday that the Iranian-Egyptian relationship “had improved in multiple fields.”

“Iran supports and is willing to cooperate with Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi, the Egyptian government and the Egyptian people,” stated Amir-Abdollahian during a press conference.

A Possible Sign Of Future Military Cooperation…

The Iranian official emphasized Morsi’s visit to Tehran last August “was strong evidence that both states intend to develop and strengthen bilateral ties on all levels.”

This comes on the heels of The Washington Times recently breaking that the radical Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated government recently allowed members of the MB and hardline jihadists to enroll in Egypt’s prestigious National Military Academy for the first time.

The Commandant of the Military Academy, Staff Major General Ismat Abdul Aziz Murad, stated in a press conference that of the new batch of Islamist students included is the nephew of President Muhamed Morsi, who is also a Muslim Brotherhood leader.

Widely seen as pro-Western, the enrollment of MB members and other Egyptian extremists in the officer ranks of the Egyptian Armed Forces could signal a significant shift in the direction and leadership of one of the most powerful militaries in the region.

As previously reported by Examiner.com on Dec. 7, 2012, the Obama Administration recently sent Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood member-heavy leadership $1,200,000,000 worth of state-of-the-art military hardware.

In Perspective To Our Own Marines…

During 2012 alone, Obama sent the Egyptians 200 M1A1 Main Battle Tanks.

Egypt already maintains the world’s 7th largest tank force, numbering in at 4,000.

The active-duty Marine Corps has less than 150 M1A1 Abrams tanks in its inventory at any given time.

Under the new Obama quasi-budget, the tank force for America’s amphibious warrior elite, along with the rest of the U.S. Armed Forces, is facing a $1,000,000,000,000 cut over the next decade.

Only F-16 Falcons Fighters In This Count…

The total population of Egypt is the same as California, Texas, and New York state combined, yet the nation has the 4th largest F-16 fleet on earth.

Numbering 240 F-16s, the Egyptian fleet is roughly the fourth of all the Falcons the U.S. Air Force has deployed throughout the entire globe.

A squadron’s worth is now on its way to Muslim Brotherhood leader Mosri.
