Kellogg recalls cereal over presence of glass fragments

n Wednesday, breakfast cereal giant Kellogg announced a voluntary recall in the U.S. of three sizes of its Special K Red Berries due to the possible presence of glass fragments.

A statement on the company’s website advises consumers to check any packages of the product they you have in their homes to determine whether it matches any of the codes shown below.

The statement notes further that any product matching the codes should not be eaten, and that the customer should contact the company for a replacement coupon and further instructions. These may include arrangements to retrieve the food for further evaluation.
